I was contacted by the Woodbend developer to create a logo that would represent their new community of Woodbend. Woodbends target market is families as they are primarily developing lots for single homes and duplexes. I came up with an owl which represents the outdoors and is family friendly. The owl was first incorporated on the double”o”s of Woodbend but then was moved over and worked into the “w”. I then selected a colour scheme that would work well with the logo for banners and other marketing materials. I also designed their outdoor billboards that are displayed on site, again keeping their target market in mind.
